How to Apply
Step 1 - Do your research!
Take a look at courses that we offer at the Academy - you can download our prospectus or just browse the course online. You can also see all of our courses on the Birmingham Metropolitan College website.
On the website, you will see an "Apply Online" button on each course page - clicking on this will begin the online application form. Our online application process is simple and you can read more about it in Step 3!.
Once you've found a course that you're interested in you may want to attend an open day to find out more about the Academy.
If you have already decided that the Academy is for you, then you are ready to move to steps 2 or 3!
Step 2 - Be prepared!
Ensure that you have all your details to hand. You will be required to enter a current email address and mobile telephone number so we can email and text you details of how your application form is progressing.
Step 3 - Apply online!
Find the course you are applying for and click "Apply Online" button on the page. Once you click this button, you will be prompted to create an account using your email address and a password for your online applications account.
We will then ask for some details about yourself including your personal details, previous qualifications, and your hobbies and interests.
What happens after I've applied?
You will see on screen confirmation that you application has been submitted.
This will be followed by an email confirmation sent to the email address you have supplied during the application process.
You will be contacted by the Customer Services team inviting you to attend the next available interview evening. You should expect to hear from us within 2 weeks of submitting your application.
