We are delighted to be launching our food processing and catering courses. We have developed partnerships with a wide range of catering companies. The food catering and hospitality industry in the UK employs over 2.5 million people and it is worth over £66 billion per year. Employees within this sector include those working in hotels, restaurants, cafés, fast food outlets, pubs and clubs, as well as those who are engaged as contract caterers to other industries. Our learners will be taught in our professional standard kitchens and public restaurants by experienced chef lecturers.

We live within a legal framework and the law governs our conduct in society. Almost every day we are affected by the law - our behaviour, our conduct and even when we buy something we make a contract with the provider to pay for the goods we are buying. The practical legal courses at the Academy will give learners a good understanding of the law of the land. During their studies, students will take part in legal debate, visit legal institutions and gain insights into different types of law. During their studies, learners will understand the meaning of law, its role its purpose and key features of different areas of law. These legal courses prepare students well for further study or for gaining meaningful employment.
Marketing qualifications will engage learners who have an interest in understanding the dynamics of how businesses promote their products. These practical, ‘hands-on’ courses will help learners to understand why it is so important in today’s highly competitive world, for companies to market their products effectively to support them to meet their business objectives. During their studies learners will understand how the changing needs of customers have an impact on how marketing strategy is formed and the courses provide entry to higher education or into employment in a marketing role.

Employed Apprentices will get paid by their employer; it is often no less than other new entrants to work. That's a pretty good deal, considering that your employer is also investing their time in your future. Like any other employee, you will be liable for National insurance and Income Tax.
