Entry Requirements
The minimum entry requirement to study for a Level 2 Diploma is 4 GCSEs at grade Ds or above which may include Mathematics and/or English, according to the requirements of the curriculum area, a Foundation Diploma, OR Merit grade or above at Level 1 in Beauty or Salon Services. Learners with a Pass grade will be considered subject to an additional assessment and/or supportive reference from their Personal Tutor.

Learners will be required to have either a full level 1 qualification in fashion or retail or 4 GCSE's at Grade D or above. Prior experience of working in a retail outlet would also be considered for access to the course. Learners should be working towards a level 1 qualification in Mathematics and English.

As a fashion student you will have the opportunity to explore design, concept, fashion production, styling, fashion photography and illustration and experimental textile design. Learners will look at trend prediction, identify potential markets and manage runway events.
Our fashion courses offer structured pathways that support our learners to progress to university or into the workplace. Throughout their studies at the Academy learners will take part in live industry briefs and projects to gain practical industry experience.
