RETAIL
Retail courses at the Academy will allow students to develop practical skills in a range of retail and fashion related subjects, plus explore and experiment with ideas. Our qualifications provide a broad approach to the retail industry. Throughout your studies at the Academy, you will take part in live industry briefs and projects to gain practical industry experience.
This one year course will introduce students to the retail sector. It will provide opportunities to develop knowledge, understanding and skills to a national occupation level required by employers. Students will develop a clear understanding of this sector through project-based work and commercial experience in our state of the art retail environment, at the newly refurbished Piano Building. Key areas of knowledge and skills development are:
• Visual Merchandising
• Customer Service Development
• Stock Organisation
• Health and Safety
This course will develop students’ knowledge, understanding and skills to a national occupation level for the retail sector. Retail is a rapidly evolving industry and level 3 students will be instrumental in developing how retail transforms itself to meet new consumer demand. Students will explore the future of Retail through project-based work and commercial experience in our state of the art retail environment, at the newly refurbished Piano Building.
